我現在的工作是三年前接手的。前幾天，聽說我這個工作的前任去接了我上一個工作的職位。感覺起來好像是個無限迴圈，一個種子從樹上掉下，再長成大樹，之後再結出新的果實。倒底是什麼樣的緣份，讓我在這個命運迴圈裡，不斷地和以往生命中的人再相遇？

I took this position 3 years ago.  A few days before, I heard the ex-job-owner took my previous job position in my previous company.  It looked like a infinite loop.  A seed droped out of a tree, then grow into a big tree, and then have new harvest.  What kind of destiny in front of me?  I don't know.  But this loop made me believe in fate.

畫這張圖原始的概念是想運用所有學過的圖形，所以先用捲線圖形勾勒出不同的區塊，再填入不同的圖形。畫好後，本來覺得四不像，就連抽象畫也算不上，但看久了，突然看出一個小丑或是一個手舞蹈的人，真是太神奇了。

I was planning to put all the patterns I learnt in this zentangle.  At the first begining, I put curly-thread pattern to sketch different divisions and put different patterens in each division.  When finished this zentangle, I found this is like nothing, I can't tell what I drew.  But with a long time gazing, I found a clown jumping out of this picture.  Quite amazing.

想照著衣服上的花朵畫出相同的感覺，畫完後，才發現二者完全不同，我的描摹功力還是沒多大長進。

I would like to draw a same pattern printed in a shirt.  When I finished this zentangle, I found these two are quite different.  It seemed that my sketch skill is still have a lot of rooms for improvement.

在網路上看到一張蘭花的照片，很有沈靜之美，照著畫了一張禪繞畫。

I saw an orchid picture on internet.  I thought it is full of silent beauty, so I drew a zentangle based on this picture.

一轉眼，2020年已過了一半，口罩也陪我們度過上半年了。下半年會怎麼樣呢？

All of a sudden, 6 months had passed in Y2020.  We lived in a world with masks for almost 6 months.  How about the sencond half of Y2020?

窗孔龜背芋的葉子很美，我一直想畫張圖呈現。

The leaves of Window Leaf Monstera are so beautiful, I would like to draw a zentangle based on them.

窗孔龜背芋:

我在辦公室養了一盆馬拉巴栗，剛好放在一個壞掉的時鐘前面。時鐘已壞，所以正面靠牆，背面的黑色成為馬拉巴栗最好的背景。

I put a Malabar Chestnut in my office, just infront of a broken clock.  The clock is broken, so it is faced the wall, and the black of the back of the clock became a wonderful background of this Malabar Chestnut.

新冠肺炎病毒是最近最火熱的新聞主角，小小的病毒，卻顛覆人類的生活。畫這幅禪繞畫，記錄最近苦悶的生活。

COVID-19 is the No. 1 hot topic these days.  It is so small, but changed human life a lot.  To record the daily life of these days, I drew this zentangle as memories.

最近對圓形很著迷，又畫了一幅圓形禪繞畫。主軸是中間的花與外圍的棋盤地板，看來很有旋轉的效果。

I was so fasinated with round shape recently, and this is another round shape zentangle.  The main patterns are the flower in the center and the chess-board-like pattern around the flower.  The spinning effect is quite obvious.

本來想畫太極的意念，沒想到最後畫成了個地球。

I was planning to draw a Tai-Chi pattern, while it became an earth.

最近在幫二個女兒換抱枕內的枕心，看著抱枕的圖案，也畫起了禪繞畫。

I was changing the internal material of the pillows of two daughters.  Watching the patterns of the pillows, made me draw this zentangle.

這次畫的一樣是有中國風的禪繞畫。原先畫的是左邊的龍，後來還是想畫同一個主題，但是想填入不同的禪繞圖形，所以又畫了右邊那隻龍。二隻龍胖瘦不一，但是都有中國風。

I drew zentangles with Chinese-flavor.  I first drew the dragon in the left.  But I would like to draw another dragon with different zentangle patterns, so I finished the right one.  These two are quite different but both with Chinese-flavor.

原只想練習中間的荷葉圖形，但半成品的看起來不太好，加上其他圖案後，看起來還真像是池塘裡的荷葉。

I was planning to practice the lily leaves pattern in the center, but the semi-finish zentangle looked not quite so good.  I put some more patterns in the background.  Now it looked better and seemed like the lily leaves in a pound.

這幅禪繞畫主要是在練習中間的稻草束。背景我用了三種不同的格紋圖案。

This zentangle is to practice the bale of straw in the center.   In the background, I put 3 different types of grid patterns.

禪繞畫裡最吸引我的就是不斷纏繞的圖形，所以我用了五種不同的繩形圖案來構成這張圖。

In zentangle, the most interested patterns I found is the entwined-string-like patterns.  I used 5 types of strings in this zentangle.

這是第一幅草稿所畫成的羊。剛畫了中間的漩渦圖形，立刻就覺得不妥，感覺毁了這張圖。在畫完前二幅羊之後，再拿回來看，覺得似乎還可以補救，就繼續畫下去，成果還不錯。

This is the first draft of goat.   When drew the whirl-like pattern in the central part, I felt regreted at once.  I'm worried I destroyed the zentangle.  When finished the previous two goats, I took it back, and found something to amend it.  The result is not bad, too.

這是第二幅草稿所畫成的禪繞畫。和上一幅一樣，我想用繩結圖案來描繪，但畫了幾個繩結之後，覺得不適合，就先丟在一旁。在完成第一幅羊之後，又把這幅草稿拿回來看，有新的想法，可以繼續畫下去了。

This is the second draft.  Just like the previous one, I would like to draw it with node-like pattern, but when I put several nodes on it, I feel it's not good enough to present the goat imagine.  So I dropped it aside.  When finished the first goat, I took it back and came out new idea, then finished this one.

想結合中國元素畫出禪繞畫，就依甲骨文中的羊的形象來畫。結果出現重畫三次草稿的窘境。每幅草稿都在動筆畫了一部分後，覺得不妥就先放棄了。這幅是最先完成的成品，但卻是草稿裡的第三幅。

I would like to draw Chinese-flavor zentangle.  This one is based on the ancient character of "Goat" in oracle format.  Unfortunately, I drew the draft for 3 times.  When finished the begining part of that draft, I felt not good and gave it up.  This is the third draft but finished the first.

圖中所用到的元素，都和中國有關。上方的繩紋，象徵中國最古老的文字：結繩記事。中間的圖案是中國剪紙中常出現的圖案，最下面的銅器上的刻紋。

I choosed Chinese elements to fulfill this zentangle.  The node-like pattern in the upper part means the very first writing method in China: keep records by tying nodes.  In the central part is the popular Chinese paper-cut pattern.  Down below is the pattern used to be put in ancient Chinese bronze ware.

這二朵花以對比的效果呈現，還滿有趣的。

These two flowers were presented in contrast effect, and quite interesting.

最近除了著迷於繩結圖案之外，對於髮絲圖案也很著迷。我把二者結合後，完成了這張禪繞畫。當然一開始仍然不知道會完成什麼樣子，只是在完成後，才覺得像是律師的假髮。好消息是，在畫完這幅禪繞畫後的二個禮拜，女兒就考上了法律系，真是個好兆頭。

I was so interested in the node-like pattern and the hair-like pattern recently.  I combined these two patterns and finished this zentangle.  Of course, I didn't know what would it be like when I was drawing.  After finished this piece, I fould it looked like a lawyer's wig.  And two weeks later, my daughter passed the enterance examination of Law school, what a good news.
